Zacapa Lava Roasted Manhattan

Take the classic Manhattan to the next level with Zacapa Rum and Mezcal in our unique and tasty "Lava Roasted" version.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Zacapa No. 23 Rum

  • 0.75 oz Spiced Cacao Vermouth*

  • 0.25 oz Mezcal

  • 1 dash Mole Bitters

  • 1 Roasted Marshmallow, for garnish


*Spiced Cacao Vermouth (Can substitute with Sweet Vermouth)

  • 0. 2 oz Cacao Nibs

  • 12.5 oz Sweet Vermouth

Preparation

  1. Stir all ingredients into a mixing glass.

  2. Double strain into a coupe glass.

  3. Garnish with a roasted marshmallow.

Instructions

  1. In a quart container, add sweet vermouth and 2 oz cacao nibs.

  2. Let sit for minimum of 30 min, up to 24 hours in room temperature (for best results, let sit for 24 hours).

  3. Fine strain, label and date.
