Zacapa Mojito

A bottle of Ron Zacapa Sistema 23 Solera rum is placed on a wooden serving board next to a tall glass filled with a refreshing mint garnish cocktail and crushed ice.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Zacapa No. 23 Rum

  • 1 oz Lime Juice

  • 6-8 Mint Leaves

  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup

  • Club Soda

  • Mint Sprig, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Combine lime juice, simple syrup and 3-4 mint leaves in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Muddle well until the oils from the mint leaves are expressed.

  3. Add ice and Zacapa Rum.

  4. Shake well and strain into a high ball filled with ice.

  5. Top with club soda and garnish with remaining mint leaves and sprig.
